Tours

 

General Tours
General Tours of Whaley House Museum last forty-five minutes to one hour and include the first and second floors of the house. The museum is open to the public on Sundays from 1 pm to 4 pm and by appointment Monday through Saturday. Admission rates are $5.00 for adults (16 and over), $3.00 for youths (6 to 15), free for children (5 and under) and members of Whaley Historical House Museum.

Group Tours
Whaley House Museum can accomodate groups of 10 to 50 people at a discounted rate. Group Tours must be made by appointment at least two weeks prior to the planned date of visit. Group tour rates are listed below:

General Group Tour: $3.50 per person.

General Group Tour with Refreshments: $5.00 per person.
(Refreshments include tea, coffee, lemonade, and cookies.)

Afternoon Teas
Whaley House Museum offers Afternoon Teas by appointment on Saturdays during the months of January through May and September through December. Afternoon teas are social gatherings that include a light meal and a General Tour. At the rate of $20.00 per person, we can accomodate groups as small as six to as large as twenty. To schedule an Afternoon Tea, please contact Whaley House Museum at least one month prior to your desired date. Final guest count and payment are due one week prior to the event. Below is a sample menu for our Afternoon Teas; please note that the menu may vary from your event:

Accessibility
Visitors with disabilities can gain access to Whaley House Museum using the ramp at the rear of the house. Because we are a historic structure, only the first floor is accessible. A photographic flipbook tour of the second floor is available to visitors free of charge.
