If you enjoy food and history, this event is for you! Join Executive Director Samantha Engel and Chef Jason Botz for a culinary adventure into America's past. Join Engel for an intimate dinner party which begins the moment the butler welcomes you through the original front doors of the Whaley family home. Following this, guests will enjoy a personal tour of the Whaley Historic House Museum by the Director. Once seated at the family dining table, Chef Botz will dazzle the table with an historically and seasonally inspired multi-course meal.
This program serves as a permanent (quarterly) fundraiser for the house and all proceeds directly benefit the museum.
The April 21st, 2017 dinner will feature a six course meal, with dishes selected from the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd class menus aboard the Titanic.
The Whaley House is currently developing ways to continue this program offsite. In June we held our Summer Soiree at the Sloan Museum, who graciously allowed us to use their space, and Knob Hill has offered their space to us this spring.
