In 2015, the Whaley Historic House Museum experienced a devastating fire that led to our long-term closure. Fortunately, hard work and generous support from our volunteers, community partners, and local foundations enabled the museum to re-open in 2018 and continue to be enjoyed the community. Even though we have reopened, the Whaley Historic House Museum is still feeling the financial effects of this intense restoration project.
