Dear Friends and Supporters,
We hope that you and your loved ones have been doing well during this challenging and uncertain time. Though things are getting better, our work to keep Covid-19 under control is far from over. Therefore, while we are definitely looking forward to once again having visitors in our House and hosting lively and engaging programs and fundraisers, we would like to assure you that we remain mindful of public safety and are constantly re-assessing the situation. With the lifting of Governor Whitmer's Stay Safe, Stay Home Order, we have begun planning for our reopening and look forward to reopening as of Saturday, August 1.
Our commitment to programming and collaborations that encouraging meaningful dialogue and inclusivity remain at the core of our mission. We would like to thank you all for your support over the past few months of closure. We encourage you to contact us if you have any comments, questions, concerns, or ideas. Our work at the Whaley Historic House Museum would not be possible without you!
Thank you again for your support. We look forward to seeing you soon.
Kind regards,
Davina Kuh Jakobi
